As Christian men each of us should want to grow in our spiritual walk. One way in which we can grow is to participate in activities that expose us to those that may be more knowledgeable than we. This retreat does just that!
We are excited and blessed to have as our leader during this retreat Rev. Willie Henry, a retired UMM minister from the Louisiana Conference who now resides in the Houston area. Along with his wife Dorothy, they now attend Spring Woods UMC.
Rev. Henry continues to be impassioned
when talking about our Lord. Come and learn
more about Knowing – Growing – Service – Giving.
This retreat is open to all men of the church.

The United Methodist Men are a supportive fellowship of men who encourage one another to seek to know Jesus Christ better, grow spiritually and seek His will in their lives. A major concern of the group is to encourage knowledge of our community and support the total mission of Spring Woods to the community. We want to bear witness to Christ's will in our daily activities.
Our projects include fund raising for missions, an annual Valentine banquet for church widows, serving meals for various church functions, church facilities maintenance, and education and entertainment for monthly meetings.
