Spring Woods UMC offers a wide variety of ministries for the strengthening of God's people.  Participating in ministry is an important component of stewardship of one's time and talent, and a wonderful way to enter more fully into the life of the church. You are welcomed into our community to worship and to participate as ministers to the greater glory of God.

Why should I get involved in ministry?

Ministry is not just the responsibility of the paid ministers of the church. In fact, ministry is the responsibility of every member of the Church.

What is ministry?

Ministry is using your God given gifts (of time, talent, and treasure) to build the Kingdom of God. It is an act that flows out of your faith and is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Ministry is NOT something you feel guilted into. It is NOT just doing good deeds. Ministry is heeding God's call for you by offering your life for the service of God. Christian Ministry is meant to be an act where you encounter God and one where you intentionally make God a part of what you are doing.
